Banner Neighborhoods began in 1982 as a small neighborhood project helping elderly homeowners on a fixed income maintain their homes and live independently in their neighborhood as long as they possibly could. Over the years, Banner has grown to become an umbrella organization for the neighborhood associations within our boundaries. Responding to the changing needs in the neighborhood, we have added programs incrementally through the years and have developed strategic partnerships and collaborations that are consistent with our mission.
